Replicas and Reproductions

Sinopro International Ltd. has recently arranged with a factory in Shenzhen to manufacture Fibreglass sculptures that can be finished by Painting, Electroplating and by Metal casting. This relationship came about by a request from a customer to manufacture a replica of Zhang Heng's 1^st century Seismograph. Most recently manufactured units can be seen here as installed in the Sheraton Hotel in Chengdu, China.

This art form has numerous applications. It can be used to manufacture statues, wall mounted decorations, outdoor signs, only your imagination is the limit. Click on the picture above to see a larger version. To learn more about this unique process take a look at the manufacturing process.

Manufacturing process:

Sculpt a clay model

Manufacture a production mold

Make a Fibreglass shell

Sand, trim and smooth fibreglss to final dimension

Finish with Paint, Electroplating, Metal Clading or Casting
