Destructive Testing
Guard Rings are attached to a 50 litre bottle (136 Kg) and hoisted 1.5 meters into the air. The bottle is then dropped so that the guard lands on a 10mm thick steel plate. Minimal distortion is allowed. Most important is that the guard can not deform such that the valve would suffer damage.
